The Scope magazine, we use it to at home to check whats on on the TV channels. Online I don't think that you can see the tv channels/programme.

Yes, they do. There are several cable companies here, one local from the MBC and then others, like CANAL+. On their sport channels you get to see the soccer games.

So whats the name of your local team that you support ?
Do you have a league ?

And maybe they can play against each other someday, once here, and once at your country so that fans can travel and get to know new horizons...

Yep, and its also very time consuming, you need to have the time

Whats their position at the moment in the UK soccer league ? does the league in which they play have a special name ?

Thanks, wish all the same here! What are your plans for new year ? whats the big event in singapore for the new years eve ? you'll be celebrating before us, as we are in the timezone GMT-3
Hi Dietmar

Still in the festive mood, thus the late response. Haha.

We do have our own Singapore League (S-League). I am not a fan of any of the clubs in general though I will follow the news of Singapore's national football team when I have the time.

Although currently, Arsenal is positioned 5th, right behind Aston Villa, Arsenal will always be considered the "Big 4", alongside Manchester United, Liverpool & Chelsea. So I trust that Arsenal will catch up.

It's called English Premier League (EPL), though some may call it Barclays Premier League (BPL), after its official sponsor.

In Singapore, you can choose to countdown in any club, in their own styles. There are a couple of places where anyone can view fireworks displays, with live broadcast of a selected location, with local artistes performing some light-hearted song & dance routines til countdown, entertaining those who choose to stay at home.

I chose to book a hotel with a couple of friends to watch the fireworks, as I have participated in the Christmas Eve Countdown in my favourite club. Hee.
