Isla-Mauricia, which stands for “Mauritius”, is an online travel portal when it comes to finding various travel deals such as flights, car rentals, cruises, diving and excursions on and to mauritius. Information on accommodation and products such as apartments, bungalows, villas and hotels in Mauritius is also available.

Isla-Mauricias offline business is owned by the “Chez Maryse” apartments in Grand Bay which are run by us. Grand Bay is a town close to the beach located in the north of Mauritius. All other offers on our website are of our associated partners which we promote on our travel portal.

Queries, reservations, bookings and transportation arrangements for our promoted offers such as appartments, bungalows, hotels and villas must be confirmed directly with the responsible party after the first contact has been made using the corresponding enquiry form. Each apartment, bungalow, hotel and villa has its own enquiry form. With these forms you get direct access to either the owner or the responsible company managing a particular appartment, hotel, bungalow or villa. Once you have made use of a form to make an enquiry, the responsible party will contact you back.

Please consider that you cannot change upon confirmation agreements that you have made with the responsible party on the day of your departure from your destination.

In the case of a travel cancellation or change to the agreed terms, please inform the responsible party 2 weeks in advance. Let the responsible party know as soon possible if you are going to delay very late on the day of your arrival so that transportation facilities can be arranged accordingly if you asked to use this service.

Bookings made for two people or a couple cannot be changed at short notice.

If a third party is brought along without informing the responsible party in advance we will not be able to accommodate the third party and cannot guarantee that he or she will find an accomodation elsewhere.

Please inform the responsible party in advance! Apartments in Mauritius are often booked in advance, and some are booked out for the whole year!

After having placed an inquiry or reservation and having come to a confirmed agreement and arrangement with us or a responsible party, please respect this so that you can have a pleasant stay and we can offer you a good service.

If you have booked a transport service to collect you at the airport, we cannot be held responsible for any delays that occur on the side of either party. If you are going to land late please inform the responsible party! Uninformed delay will be charged per day. One to two hours of delay will be allowed for - but not days!

As a form of payment we accept the Euro or Ruppee currency, to be paid in cash in advance on the day of arrival.

We do not accept cheques, travellers cheques or credit cards as forms of payment.

You can change your money at the airport on the day of your arrival.

Money exchange booths and banks are located in many locations on the island.

All other services provided on the website of Isla-Mauricia such as flight tickets, car rentals, cruises, hotels, last minute hotels, travel insurance, luggage, phone cards and travel accessories are offers from our different chosen content providers that partner up as affiliates with Isla-Mauricia and comply as a form of promotion of their services to facilitate your travel bookings as being a one stop travel shop in the form of an online travel agency.

The disclaimer of each content provider for each service provided can be viewed on the pages where these services are offered before making a payment.

Payments are always done and offered in a secure environment where confidential data is encrypted with approved SSL 128 Bit technology.

Bookings for these services cannot be placed or made directly with Isla-Mauricia. This includes issuing flight tickets personally through email inquiry, reserving hotel rooms in advance or setting up travel packages by email.
