The family-run holiday residence Kuxville is situated in Cap Malheureux, on the northern tip of Mauritius. The 20 accommodations are scattered in a large garden, directly on the sea. Kuxville offers villas, studios, apartments and bungalows for 1-6 persons. Nearly all accommodations offer a beautiful view on the Indian Ocean and the three islets offshore, Gunner’s Point, Flat Island and Round Island. Kuxville offers a nice sandy beach, which is interrupted in some places by igneous rocks.

Cap Malheureux is a calm fishermen’s village on the northernmost point of Mauritius. You will find some shopping possibilities and restaurants here. Cap Malheureux is a popular destination of excursions as you can enjoy a fantastic view from here. Furthermore you find here the small red-roofed church Notre-Dame Auxilatrice, which is worth taking a picture. The “Cape of bad luck” owes his name to an historic event of the year 1810. On 2nd December the British landed here to wrest the power over the island away from the French. Only a few days later the French had to sign a capitulation treaty.

Kuxville offers its sportive guests a lot of amenities. You find here a diving and kite surfing school operated by Nico Kux. You can also rent surfboards, canoes and pedalos. For friends of these sports Kuxville is the perfect accommodation. Furthermore, the residence also offers a bicycle rental.
