This elegant residence is located in Cap Malheureux. The village is a calm fishermen’s village on the northernmost point of Mauritius. It’s a place where time has stopped, the sun usually shines hot, people go slow and nobody is in a hurry or stressed. Cap Malheureux is a popular destination of excursions as you can enjoy a fantastic view from there. Fishing, diving, boat trips are common. Furthermore you will find there the small red-roofed church Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice, which is worth taking a picture. The “Cape of bad luck” i.e. Cap Malheureux, owes its name to an historic event which took place 1810. On 2nd December the British landed here to wrest the power over the island away from the French. Only a few days later the French had to sign a capitulation treaty. Mauritius was then influenced by British administration and the French way of life. Nowadays you can see that Mauritius has inherited many languages, cultures, religions from people that have come from all continents of this world to live here in peace and harmony seeking a new future and a good life.

In proximity of the residence you find the popular beach of Pereybere. In this town you will find some more restaurants and shops. The tourist town of Grand Bay is also not far from Cap Malheureux. Marvel at the yachts in the lagoon, take a stroll on Sunset Boulevard and enjoy the great choice of restaurants, bars and discotheques.
