The apartments are situated directly on the beautiful beach of La Preneuse. Here you can relax in the sun or take a dip in the crystal clear water of the Indian Ocean. Numerous aquatic sports, such as water ski, wakeboarding and diving are offered in proximity of the apartments. The region is also especially popular amongst surfers.
Local boatmen offer trips in catamarans, dolphin watching and big game fishing. The Black River Region is well-known for this. The records for Big Marlin-Fishing have been broken here for several times.
Friends of nature can do hiking, trekking and mountainbiking in proximity of La Mariposa. Black River Gorges National Park, for example, is a very popular region.
