You can go on excursions such as fishing in the lagoon, deep sea fishing, boat trips to the small islands in the north, scuba diving etc which are proposed by individual operators or small specialised companies.
We recommend an excursion in the lagoon which is well appreciated by the holidaymakers: Spend the day on a small island ‚ Île aux Bernache or Île d’Ambre . Eric David is the specialist. You will leave Grand Gaube at 9.30 a.m., spend the day of the island where you will sun bathe, swim and relax. A BBQ will be prepared for lunch. You will be able to practice snorkeling if you wish. A wonderful ballad on the sea . Sarah David works at Les Banyans and will organize this wonderful ballade on the sea for you, which is always appreciated by our guests.
Shopping centres and restaurants are situated in Grand Bay, the main tourist village of the island, which is at a 15 minutes drive from Grand Gaube. Here you can also enjoy nightlife.
