Trou aux Biches, a tropical coastal village in the north west of Mauritius. This place stretches itself mostly along the coast and is a small village consisting mainly of holiday beach front properties where Mauritian families like to spend their weekends, a few hotels, some shops, restaurants, tourist oriented accommodations such as bungalows, some bars, fishermen, and the beach!
Trou aux Biches is for the Mauritian mostly popular for its long, wide sandy beach. People like to go for a walk there, picnic with their families and friends, or go for a jog, contemplating the sunset and snorkeling as well as bathing in the sea.
You will be able to do your daily shopping, for example you can get your bread at the “Chez Popo Supermarket”, there you will also have a wide variety of food stuff. Ideal as it’s only a few metres walking distance from the self catering accommodation. A few metres walk next to the accommodation you will also come across the “Le Sakoa” Hotel, there you can have lunch with a menu à la carte in the restaurant.
Trou aux Biches is a nice tropical village, quiet and peaceful with a beautiful, white sandy beach adorned with a turquoise lagoon. The ideal setting for spending a memorable holiday in Mauritius.
