Overview

The „La Hacienda“ is a complex of four exclusive guest houses near „Montagne du Lion“ at the south-eastern coast of Mauritius. Three of the four guesthouses can accommodate up to 3 persons, the remaining bigger guesthouse can accommodate up to 5 persons. Breakfast is included. Surrounded by forests lush native vegetation, and offering a fantastic view of the gorgeous bay and the mountains, the guest houses are an oasis of rest and recreation.

All of the four houses offer all kinds of conveniences. Each house has a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room, bedrooms, as well as a bathroom and a terrace. Built with natural, local materials, such as stone, wood, and plant fibres, the houses harmoniously blend in with their environment.

The name „La Hacienda“ is derived from Spanish and describes a large farmhouse or home in the countryside. The estate received its name in recognition of its former use as a large orchard.

„La Hacienda“ is located in the South-East of Mauritius, the most natural region of the island. An ideal location for nature lovers and for those looking for rest!
