The guest house is located in Pointe d'Esny at the South East Coast of Mauritius.
This coastal village is set in a quiet environment. The turquoise blue lagoon and the white sandy beaches are a great attraction. Pointe d'Esny is well-known for its incredible beaches. Because the beach of Pointe d'Esny is mainly lined by private houses and villas you won't have to share this little glimpse of paradise with many other people. There are a number of smaller islands near the coast. The island of Ile aux Aigrettes, e.g., is a nature reserve that can be visited on guided tours.

Not far from the guest house is the historic city of Mahebourg. Here the Dutch erected their first port when they arrived in Mauritius during the 15th century. With its many historical sites and museums Mahebourg has a unique character.

You can do all your shopping in the close surroundings. There is a super market  close by. Mahebourg has a nice weekly market that offers clothes, souvenirs, vegetables, fruit, and fresh fish. You will also find a variety of stores and restaurants in the city.

The guest house is set in very quiet environment with few opportunities for going out at night. Those looking for night life will enjoy the larger cities in the highlands which can be reached by a 30-minute car ride.
