Located on one of the sleepiest coastlines of the Mauritian East Coast, Emeraude Hotel combines true island charm with the kind of comprehensive range of services one can come to expect from a larger resort, into a smaller, more intimate, package.

With only sixty rooms, this sea-facing three star mini-resort boasts two restaurants, a bar, three swimming pools, a PADI certified diving centre, non-motorized water sports, a spa, an outdoor hydrotherapy whirlpool bath, a gaming room and theatre-style conference facilities.

Thatched-roof bungalows with crisp white exteriors, each housing up to four separate rooms with own patio and ensuite bathroom, stretch across the width of the property amidst the lush tropical garden.

Here, the buildings are only made from the most natural materials, predominantly stone, thatch and wood – adding to the feeling of wilderness inspired by this semi-deserted coastline bordered by tall whispering casuarina trees, endless white sand beaches and warm turquoise ocean.
