Overview

In the small and quiet fishing village of Cap Malheureux, in the very north of Mauritius, we have four luxurious, self-catering apartments and one Mauritius penthouse, located directly at the sea. You will be enchanted by a unique view, a comfortable atmosphere, attractive design and much attention to detail.

The Mauritius apartments and penthouse were very generously built: All rooms are very spacious and provide a breathtaking view of the ocean and the island of ‘Coin de Mire’. Each apartment has 3 rooms for up to 6 people. The penthouse has 4 rooms for up to 8 people. Most of the bedrooms have an adjacent bathroom, some even providing a modern bathtub. As you have a relaxing bath or take a shower you can enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean.
The pool outside is surrounded by a beautiful wooden terrace with comfortable chairs and sun loungers. Even from here there is an incredible view of the Indian Ocean and the island of ‘Coin de Mire’.
The apartments, as well as the penthouse are painted in light beige with a hint of grey. Beautiful paintings and attractive interior decoration turn the rooms into places of comfort and relaxation. 

There are various restaurants and shopping opportunities in the village. Because of the beautiful view of the coast line and the island of ‘Coin de Mire’, Cap Malheureux is a favourite place of excursions for tourists. The small church, Notre-Dame Auxilatrice, with its red pitched roof is a popular motif for photographers. The ‘Cape of Bad Luck’ derives its name from a historical event: On the 2nd of December 1810 the English landed here in order to snatch the dominion over Mauritius from the French. Only a few days later the French had to sign their capitulation.
