The studio Yemaya Shores is situated in the quiet village of Kalodyne in the North of Mauritius. Kalodyne was named after an ancient shipwreck found close by. Yemaya Shores is located on a small peninsular which is connected to the mainland with a little bridge. Only some families’ residences are to be found in the neighbourhood. The studio lies on the tip of a point and is surrounded by the sea, thus it is the perfect spot for tranquility and seclusion.
It takes app. 10 minutes to cross the peninsular and reach the small village. Here you will find a supermarket and some restaurants and cafés. In the proximity you will find some bigger towns which offer a broader choice of restaurants, bars and shops. You can go there easily by bus or taxi. Grand Bay, the main tourist town of the village with its shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and boutiques can easily be reached.
