The dive
courses PADI, CMAS, FFESSM are given by Irene and Feroze in
french, english and Greek. The dive sites are around 20 mins
away by boat from the diving center. After your dive you can
have some coffee and nice cakes made by Irene!

PADI: Is an american school, or diving certification.
It conceives its diving methods as a form of entertainment
and the diver has to dive without the stages of decompression.
It’s after the second patent that the differences between
the two schools (PADI / CMAS) can be recognised.
The Dive Dream Diving Center is the first diving center being
affiliated to the French Federation. We thus respect the French
regulations which implies strict means of safety. Divine-Dream
delivers the patents of level 1 up to the level 3 as well
as valid licences of FFESSM which are valid worldwide.
We would like to inform you that PADI divers are obliged to
buy the PADI book which contains a Padi card, the book costs
around EUR 110.-. These EUR 110 do not go to the diving center
but to the PADI organisation.

FFESSM: The registration fees for FFESSM
costs EUR 30 which includes the FFESSM booklet and the FFESSM
card, which looks similar to a credit card. The licence fees
amount to EUR 39.- which also includes an insurance which
includes worldwide coverage.

Niveau 1: During the formation course of
“Niveau 1” it is necessary to carry out a minimum
of 5 dives which emphase on techniques of proper diving, during
which the apprentice has a to learn a certain number of competences
and manoeuvres. The first dive is carried out in a protected
place, the other dives will take place in a natural environment
like in the lagoon. The whole learning process is carried
out in a progressive way.
There is a half an hour theory course that will need to be
followed. The course is about various explications about diving
methods, techniques and behaviour. The “Niveau 1”
once achieved allows the diver to go diving with a team in
depths of 20 metres.
Before you start your first dive session, you will need a
certification from your general or family doctor which certifies
that you can dive. Especially if you have asthma it is necessary
to consult your doctor.
Niveau 2: You need to do 10 diving sessions
where you will learn about various techniques and manoeuvres.
Also you will need to take 5 hours of theory courses. While
doing this formation course, the diver will learn how to assist
another diver in the depths of the water who is in difficulty.
The apprentice must master the sitaution as such that he does
not put into danger the other diver who he is assisting.
To be allowed for the “Niveau 2”, you need the
permission of your doctor and you must have the “Niveau
1” and have done 10 dives in natural environments, like
lagoons.

Open Water: A minimum of 5 dives where the
apprentice learns various skills. The diving takes place in
an protected area and both in a natural environment. The diver
has to read a manual and must then pass a written exam of
QCM.

Advanced: The diver must do 5 dives which
correspond to a set theme. First he has to read a booklet
about the dive he is going to perform. Then before performing
the dive, he should be able to inform about the dive he is
going to make without using the book.
