Situated on the
west coast amidst Pointe aux Sables, a small fisherman
village, only ten minutes drive from Port Louis,
Villa Jorico is the one and only guesthouse ‘pieds dans
l’eau’ in this area. Offering a superb view on
the sunset, the villa rests in calm and peaceful
atmosphere as one can hear the waves gently crash the beachfront.
Villa Jorico is a large colonial style house
comprising 20 rooms shared into 3 double
bedrooms, 4 family apartments and 2
individual bungalows, all nested in a luscious tropical garden
and facing a large swimming pool.
Villa Jorico
is ideal for visitors whose main interest is to discover culture,
people, nature and a different place, far from the madding crowd.
The owners live there and can share every moment of the day. At Villa
Jorico, visitors feel at home.
The villa is at a stone throw from the fish landing post. Visitors
often accompany local fishermen, on one of their fishing trips

The villa is the only beachfront quality accommodation closest
to the newly built Swami Vivekananda Exhibition Centre at Pailles
(5 minutes drive) and only ten minutes or half hour bus drive to
Port Louis and its shopping arcades. Caudan Waterfront,
the Craft market, Chinatown, shops and boutiques.
Easy to travel (by bus or car) to towns like Beau Bassin, Rose Hill,
Phoenix or Quatre Bornes and discover other shopping places (The
owners will give you the right tips).
In Pointe aux Sables and the nearby village of Albion, visitors
can discover the ruins of a Martello tower (Terrasson,
Pointe aux Sables), the traditional fishermen landing post,
the cliffs of Albion and its lighthouse, or the
place called ‘Montagne Jacquot´ where
the bravest dive from the cliffs into the breaking waves.

From the airport
Let us pick you up but you can also come by bus or car
By bus: drive to Port Louis. Pick up the bus to Pointe aux Sables
on Victoria Bus Station (the bus stops on the M1 motorway)
If by car: drive down towards Port Louis until you reach Pailles.
Take the road leading to Grand River North West (GRNW), and on the
bridge, turn right towards Pointe aux Sables. The Villa is 5 –
6 km from the bridge.
From Port Louis
Pick up the bus from Victoria bus station through GRNW and 5 –
6 km towards La Pointe. There’s no way you can miss!
From Plaine Wilhems (Curepipe, Beau Bassin, Quatre
Bornes)
Pick up the bus and drive north to Port Louis. Stop on GRNW bridge,
walk across the main road and pick up the bus to Pointe aux Sables.
